Will I ever receive the same cigars?
The answer is no; cigars are usually categorized by flavor, size, shape, strength, origin, manufacturer, etc. At Southern Cigar Co., we make it our mission to always send you something new to sample each month.
How many Cigars come each month?
You will receive four (4) cigars each month. We love giving back to our subscribers though, so you may find extras along the way!
What is in the box?
Your first box will include a triple torch lighter, a double guillotine cutter, and four new cigars packed with a Boveda humidity pack. Every box is finished off with an informational card displaying everything you need to know about the cigars you are receiving.
Is shipping included in the price?
Our policy is simple: We will ship our cigars anywhere in the continental U.S. for $5 flat rate. Outside the U.S. is $15.00 per box (Canada is $11.99). Your country may impose taxes or tariffs on the shipment depending on local laws and regulations. **Due to shipping restrictions, unfortunately at this time we cannot ship to Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, or Hong Kong.
When does the box ship?
All cigar boxes ship between the 22nd-24th of every month. If you sign up before the 22nd, you will receive that months shipment, if you sign up after the 22nd, you will be rolled over to the next month.
Will my cigars be fresh?
There is nothing more disappointing than smoking a dry cigar. We follow strict quality guidelines that ensures our cigars remain in our humidor at 70 degrees fahrenheit and 70% humidity until they are ready to be shipped. Your cigars are then packed in a sealed zip-lock with a Boveda humidity pack inside to maintain proper humidity.
Why doesn't my Lighter work?
Due to USPS Regulations, all lighters ship WITHOUT Butane Fuel inside. As a result, your lighter will not ignite until you insert butane fuel of your choosing. Prior to shipping, we test all lighters to make sure they work.
Sending a Box as a Gift
How does gifting work?
Upon the checkout screen, please click "This is a Gift" please then enter the recipient's name and e-mail address. (If you do not enter an e-mail, the recipient will not receive confirmation of the gift). Then write your gift message and check out!
How does the recipient get the gift message?
All gift messages are printed on the shipping label on the box - please keep messages under 200 characters in order to fit it all on the label. If you entered the recipient's e-mail address he/she will also receive a copy of the message via e-mail.
Shipping
How do you ship the boxes?
We ship all boxes via The United States Postal Service (USPS). If you are an international customer, your box will be handed over to your local postal service and delivered through them. Please note, depending on your country you may face additional tariffs and taxes.
How long until I receive my box?
We ship USPS First Class Priority; All boxes are shipped from our fulfillment center in Miami, Florida. Typically it takes 3-5 days from shipment (22nd of each month) to receive your box inside the United States. Canada can expect around 5-8 days for shipping, and International can expect around 7-12 days.
How long until my cigars are ready to smoke?
All of our cigars ship in a sealed ziplock bag with a Boveda 69% Humidity Pack inside. This means your cigars are going to arrive perfectly fresh and ready to smoke; however, depending on the climate of where you live, or how long your box sat in the mailbox, we recommend letting your cigars cool down inside of your humidor for a few hours before you smoke.
Do you ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses?
Absolutely, we want to make sure all of our service men and women can get some great smokes.
What if my box is damaged?
We have shipped over thousands of boxes and have NEVER had any box arrive damaged. However, if your box is damaged and the cigars inside are no longer in smoking condition; send us an email to support@southerncigarco.com along with a photo of the box/cigars and we will get replacements out to you in no time.
Can I get a refund?
Unforunately, once a box has been shipped we cannot issue a refund and all sales are final. This is do to our commitment to sending fresh superb quality cigars to all of our subscribers.
Cancellation and Shipment Issues
I cancelled and did not get a refund
Southern Cigar Co is a PREPAID subscription service. As such, a cancellation means your account will not renew anymore, this does not mean you will be given a refund for a box that has already renewed. If your box renewed and you would like a refund, please email us. If not, you will receive that months box.
I inputted the wrong address on my account.
Our system is automated, and as such, it does not flag incorrect addresses. Your shipment label will print with the exact address that was typed on checkout. If your box is returned to sender, we cannot re ship it for free as the cigars inside could have been damaged during its shipment. You will have forfeited that box, it is vitally important to check your address before you check out.
I moved and forgot to update my address.
Similarly to inputting the wrong address, if your box is returned to sender, we cannot re ship it for free as the cigars inside could have been damaged during its shipment. You will have forfeited that box, it is vitally important to update your address when moving. Finally, if the box is delivered to your old address and not returned to sender we cannot re-ship you a new box.
I think my box is lost in the mail.
We have a stellar delivery rate and rarely have issues, if you think your box is lost please reach out to your local post office to make sure it is not being held for some reason. (If you live abroad this typically happens as they are holding it for fees and taxes). If the box is indeed lost, we will send a new box at the end of the month with that month's shipment.
I refused the package and want a refund.
In our terms and conditions that are agreed upon checkout, you have agreed that refusing a package does not constitute a refund. Cigars are perishable and as such refusing a box and returning to sender will mean you have forfeited the box and will not be receiving any refund because once a box is shipped there is no refunds.

When will my account be charged?
First month is billed when you first register. Future months are billed the 1st of every month.
Will my subscription AUTO RENEW?
As we are a subscription based service, all orders are AUTO RENEWING. This means if you sign up for the 1-month subscription, you will be renewed every month. 3-month subscription will renew in 3 months time, for another 3 months. 6-months will renew in 6-months time, for an additional 6 months. How do I update my credit card info?

How do I cancel my subscription?
Simply log onto your account my clicking the link in the top right of the page, then in your account portal, click under the "Your Subscription" block of the page the button that says "EDIT". After that just click "Cancel Subscription". Please remember that boxes are pre-paid, if you have pre-paid already and you cancel you will STILL receive your pre-paid boxes.
